How a two-store boutique became a national online brand.
Dehleze Clothing began as a two-store boutique with a loyal local following and a clear ambition: to become a national brand that customers across the country could discover, trust, and buy from online. The in-store experience was excellent, but their digital presence was a basic catalogue that couldn't take orders, sync stock, or tell the brand's story.
They came to Ecomsy to build the online half of the business from the ground up - a storefront that felt as considered as their clothing, connected to real-time inventory, and engineered to be found on Google.
The boutique's stock lived across two physical stores and a back-office spreadsheet, so even a simple online catalogue risked overselling items that were already gone. On top of that, almost nobody could find them online: with no search presence and no content, growth depended entirely on foot traffic and word of mouth. To go national, Dehleze needed a storefront that could sell around the clock, keep inventory accurate across every channel, and steadily climb the search rankings for the terms their future customers were already typing.
Left unaddressed, problems like these quietly cap growth and pile hidden costs onto the team - which is exactly why Dehleze Clothing decided to act and look for a partner who could fix it properly.
Dehleze compared several agencies and chose Ecomsy for one reason: we offered a single senior team to handle the whole journey - design, storefront engineering, inventory integration, and SEO - rather than stitching the project together across freelancers. They wanted a partner who understood both the craft of a premium fashion experience and the technical plumbing of real-time retail.
From the first conversation, the priority was a partner who could own the outcome end to end and communicate clearly the whole way - not just write code and disappear.
We worked in clear milestones so progress was visible at every stage:
We mapped Dehleze Clothing's goals, users, and constraints to shape a focused, realistic plan - and agreed up front on what success would look like.
We designed the flows and interface, then validated the direction early with clickable prototypes before a line of production code was written.
We built Dehleze Clothing's product in milestones with clean, scalable, well-tested code, so progress was visible the whole way through.
We launched, monitored performance closely, and stayed on to refine, fix, and add features after go-live.
Working closely with the Dehleze Clothing team, we designed and delivered:
The work translated into outcomes that mattered to the business:
“What was once a local boutique is now a national brand. Ecomsy understood our vision and over-delivered at every step.” - Sarah Johnson, CEO, Dehleze Clothing
Within months, Dehleze had transformed from a local boutique into a genuinely national online brand. Online sales tripled, the leaner checkout cut cart abandonment sharply, and a steady climb in organic search meant new customers were arriving every day without paid ads. Just as importantly, the team now owns a storefront they can run and grow themselves - adding collections, publishing lookbooks, and trusting that stock figures are always right.
