UrbanSpace is a fast-growing property agency that had outgrown the patchwork of spreadsheets, email threads, and disconnected tools it used to manage listings, tenants, and payments. As the portfolio grew, so did the admin - and the risk of things slipping through the cracks.
They asked Ecomsy to design and build a single property-management platform that could scale with them: one place to publish listings, manage tenants and leases, and handle payments, with room to keep growing.
The challenge they faced
Every new building UrbanSpace took on multiplied the manual work. Listings were updated by hand in several places, tenant records lived in inboxes, and rent payments were reconciled manually at month-end. The team needed to replace all of it with one reliable system - without disrupting the day-to-day running of the business while it was being built, and without a platform so complex that staff would avoid using it.
