A boutique fashion retailer's leap from two stores to a national brand.
Dehleze operates in the e-commerce space, where expectations are high and the margin for error is small.
Dehleze Clothing, a boutique with two physical stores, wanted to expand beyond their local market. Their old site was outdated, not mobile-friendly, and had no real e-commerce.
They needed a proper online store that reflected the brand, synced with their shops, and could actually be found on Google.
Left unsolved, this capped growth and added friction for the team and their customers alike - which is what prompted them to look for a partner who could fix it properly.
After comparing several agencies, Dehleze chose Ecomsy for our senior, end-to-end team - one group handling strategy, design, development, and QA - and our track record of shipping e-commerce products that actually perform in production.
We mapped a few possible directions together: an off-the-shelf platform, a lightly customised template, or a purpose-built solution. Off-the-shelf was fast but too rigid for what Dehleze needed; a template would have saved time upfront but cost far more later. We weighed cost, speed, control, and long-term flexibility side by side.
We chose a purpose-built approach on a modern Shopify stack - the option that best balanced time-to-market with the control and scalability Dehleze needed. It let us tailor every part of the experience while keeping the codebase clean and easy to extend.
We mapped Dehleze's goals, users, and constraints to shape a focused, realistic plan, and agreed on what success would look like.
We designed the flows and interface, then validated the direction early with clickable prototypes before a line of production code was written.
Our team built Dehleze in milestones with clean, scalable, well-tested Shopify code - so progress was visible the whole way through.
We shipped, monitored performance closely, and stayed on to refine, fix, and add features after go-live.
Working in milestones, we built and shipped the core of the product, then layered in the details:
